Paultons Park – Award winning home of Peppa Pig World is a family owned and run theme park which opened in 1983 originally as a country park. Today we are one of the leading UK attractions welcoming around 1 million visitors a year. Park Operations – Ride Operators
Our Park Operations team members fulfil a wide variety of tasks in various job roles. However in all cases they have a common goal to ensure our guests get the best possible experience during their visit by delivering quality with passion whilst promoting safety. No two days are completely the same and you must be prepared to be flexible, learn new skills and carry out a variety of duties.
Our Ride Operators primarily host our various rides and attractions ensuring our guests have a fun day out whilst adhering to our strict safety procedures. You could also find yourself assisting with car parking duties.
An average day may consist of;
- Preparation of assigned area
- Greeting/ interacting with all guests
- Provide assistance, advice and help with queries
- Operate a number of rides and attractions at the Park
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies/ procedures
- Maintain presentation levels/ keep a clean work area
- Clean up and close down
It goes without saying we require you to be confident, presentable and able to communicate appropriately to all our guests and colleagues. You need to demonstrate passion to deliver excellence, drive to succeed and commitment to the role and to the team.
Please note, if you are a holder of a Tier 4 visa you will have certain conditions and working
restrictions attached to your visa. Generally, students studying towards a degree level qualification (NQF6) or above are restricted to a maximum of 20 hours work per week during term time, which is reduced to 10 hours per week for students studying below degree level. Please check your visa for more details. It is a criminal offence to breach the conditions of your visa, and anyone found doing so by UK Visas and Immigration is likely to have their permission to stay in the UK cancelled.
