Banbury Museum has ambitious plans for development and is now recruiting the team to deliver. The museum is about to embark on the construction of a large temporary exhibition gallery and reception area, which will see us dramatically change our offer and the way in which we work.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and driven events professional to play a key role in developing key audiences, driving income generation, and championing best practice following the opening of The Pye Gallery in December 2018.
- You will be an integral member of a dynamic team, at a pivotal moment in the museum’s development.
- You will use your experience to develop a creative programme which is relevant to our core target audiences, increasing visits and engagement.
- You will use your creative flair and passion for the cultural sector to create memorable experiences for the key groups identified in the audience development strategy, contributing to the resilience of the museum.
Please note, if you are a holder of a Tier 4 visa you will have certain conditions and working restrictions attached to your visa. Generally, students studying towards a degree level qualification (NQF6) or above are restricted to a maximum of 20 hours work per week during term time, which is reduced to 10 hours per week for students studying below degree level. Please check your visa for more details. It is a criminal offence to breach the conditions of your visa, and anyone found doing so by UK Visas and Immigration is likely to have their permission to stay in the UK cancelled.
