Join us as a Direct Marketing Coordinator and you’ll help us speak to all these customers, all across the country.


Role Purpose:

A fantastic role in the CRM team to help develop, implement and review performance of ECRM communication strategies to drive customer engagement, growth and retention, using customer behavioural insights to inform what we do, creating inspiring and relevant communications to meet our business objectives and KPIs. The CRM team demonstrates the value of a ‘customer first’ approach to the wider business.



  • Campaign development and implementation – develop creative and content themes to meet customer segment profiles; brief, manage, coordinate content  

  • Managing our chosen email partners to brief creative, HTML, testing and build

  • Working with the Direct Marketing Lead and the wider CRM team to brief the set-up of the communications including audience selection and dynamic targeting

  • Working with the Direct Marketing Lead and the data team to deliver well-considered and robust A/B test plan – subject lines, animation etc

  • Build relationships and manage key stakeholders across the wider business including other marketing channels to gain approvals, optimise the customer online journey and ensure consistency of messages and creative

  • Working closely with Analysts and reporting on the performance of activity to make recommendations for future optimisation

  • Ensure all activity is delivered within budget and timescales


About you:

  • A passion for customer-led marketing across a range of channels

  • Experience delivering digital marketing / CRM activity

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and can communicate and collaborate with different teams across the business

  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships

  • Excellent attention to detail and able to proof-check material provided

  • Naturally creative and ideas-led - passionate about your work

  • Adaptable and can manage multiple projects at one time

  • Proactive and can work autonomously as well as within a team

  • Desirable - knowledge of basic segmentation and testing approach

  • Desirable - experience in briefing and managing internal / external agencies
