We are currently seeking an Assistant Psychologist to provide comprehensive support to our clinical team, including support to applied Psychologists and Psychotherapists.


  • Offer support in the development of Quality of life plans and Health & Social care paperwork and practices
  • Provide direct support to young people placed within the organisation under the supervision of Applied Psychologists
  • Hours: 40hrs per week

About You

  • Upper-class honours degree or higher in Psychology
  • Entitlement to graduate membership of British Psychological Society
  • Min 1-year experience in Assistant Psychologist role
  • Experience of working/volunteering with Children & Young people
  • Familiar with the theory and practice of Therapeutic care with Looked After Children
  • Understanding of associated legislations
  • Ability to cope with stressful interpersonal situations
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in the case of highly emotive and distressing problems and the threat of verbal and physical abuse
  • Enhanced + barred DBS check – paid for by the company
