Full Time

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Designer on a full time 3-month fixed-term contract to join our small Design team, with a focus on designing and creating memorable, engaging, campaigns within a fast paced in-house team. If you’re a strong team player with a can-do attitude, who loves variety and works at pace, you’ll fit in well with our ambitious team in Surbiton.

This role is based in Surbiton and works closely and collaboratively with Marketing and Global office teams to market our brands through digital and conventional channels.


  • Production of digital assets including homepage banners, ppc web banners, infographics, social media graphic channel graphics and posts and multi-channel video (to suit social, web and event needs)
  • Production of print assets including boat show stand and event graphics, postcards, direct mailings, print advertisements and brochures
  • Adapt all creative for foreign markets, including use of subtitles
  • Align work with brand guidelines, templates and overall marketing strategy, and ensure consistency across all channels for both brands
  • Prepare creative assets (including video) for internal campaign presentations
  • Source new creative material including stock/copyright-free music and photography
  • Work with external suppliers to achieve print/digital artwork requirements
  • Manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Generate concepts, visuals and mock-ups, demonstrating the benefits of different approaches to meeting the internal brief
  • Present ideas and designs with supporting rationale to the content team and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with maintenance of digital asset libraries
  • Select and appraise photography for campaigns
  • Raise creative standards, introducing new processes, tools and technologies when appropriate
  • Have a clear understanding of the customer usability as well as commercial impact of any creative design and layout for both print and e-commerce
  • Support the continued development of our brand creative guidelines within the digital environment and advise brand led creative to the studio team and across the business
  • Create storyboards for animation for online and other digital mediums (Digital posters, YouTube and Apps)
  • Generate Flash and gif animation for online ads and other digital mediums such as digital posters, Youtube
  • Adhere to specified file weights for online ads, understanding limitations and communicating these limitations effectively to the team

About You

  • Experience in design/ marketing agency environment or similar
  • Degree in Multimedia design or equivalent
  • Experience in digital design for mobile responsive banners, landing pages and e-brochures
  • Competent with Apple OS, Windows an advantage as well as Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro
  • Experience with MAC OSX
  • Good working knowledge of technical design terminology
  • Detail oriented with ability to effectively multi-task whilst retaining quality and composure
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines with quality and composure
  • Understanding of printing processes including web, sheet-fed and digital
  • You must have an online portfolio that showcases your design/video work and demonstrates your skills.
  • This work should show an aptitude for print and digital design, and an understanding of branding marketing design.
