A leading manufacturer based in Burnley is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to a well-established manufacture who have been in operation for over 30 years and is continuing to expand its ever-growing organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes
  • Posting purchase invoices/credits onto Sage
  • Checking supplier statements
  • Preparing supplier payments
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Posting customer receipts
  • Chasing debtors
  • Data entry
  • Keep accurate records
  • Assist the Office Manager as necessary
  • Undertake any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required

About You

  • GCSE grade C and above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of using Sage - Sage Line 50 used in this position
  • Good IT Skills - MS Office including Word and Excel

Benefits

  • Basic competitive starting salary for £18,000-£20,000
  • 8.30am - 5pm, Monday-Thursday, 8.30am-3.30pm on Fridays
  • 2% pension scheme
