Chilworth Partnership and Venture Recruitment Partners are seeking to recruit a Resourcing Associate to join our experienced team. The Chilworth partnership was founded in 2010 and on the back of its success, we launched Venture Recruitment Partners as an expansion of the business. Our clients range from SME’s to FTSE listed businesses and Blue-Chip Organisations.

As the Resourcing Associate your primary focus will be improving the success of the consulting team by identifying, contacting and nurturing the highest quality of candidates through effective retained searches, database management, referrals and social networking.


  • Headhunting suitable candidates on LinkedIn, Reed, Gaapweb, Jobsite and other forms of social media
  • Conducting executive search projects using our current CV database and external job board CV databases
  • Have an ongoing knowledge of the positions the consultants are handling
  • Attending client meetings to support the consultants in:
    • Business Development, Winning New Business, presenting shortlists and receiving interview feedback from the candidates
  • Using our database, and other forms of search to gain market knowledge & update our Customer Relationship Management system (via telephone, email, text, LinkedIn)
  • Advertising jobs on online job boards, receiving the applications, filtering candidates and acknowledging their applications (GAAPWeb, Reed, own Website, LinkedIn & Jobsite)
  • Assisting our Marketing Associate with creating original and creative marketing content that leads to Business Development
  • Covering other roles when incumbents are on annual leave
  • Assisting when required with: answering phones, retyping CV’s, formulating meeting and interview confirmations, liaising with external technical support
  • Providing competitor analysis through web research and monitoring of job boards
  • Monitoring of job boards to find positions the consultants can handle
  • Providing low level tech support on an ad hoc basis (desirable, not essential)

  • Confident and communicative with a high level of drive
  • Excellent levels of customer service who builds good rapport and has first class communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone
  • Good knowledge of social media and social networking
  • Creative problem solver, with an artistic flair and an eye for innovation
  • Strong team worker
  • Well organised, with good project management, time management and administration skills
  • Good attention to detail, with experience of researching, providing data-driven and qualitative competitor analysis and writing reports in a clear and concise manner
  • Good judge of character
  • Smart and presentable, with a professional manner
