Film Daily is a new online platform connecting audiences with indie filmmakers via news, views, and reviews.

We are a scrappy new media startup aiming to disrupt the film distribution and production industries. We work with amazing, storied clients and new emerging technologies & agencies.

Successful candidates will work from our office in Church Fenton, North Yorkshire.


  • Daily research into the top film related stories
  • Compiling stock footage of events and managing these assets
  • Identify stories that our audience will connect with
  • Working closely with our editor and producer
  • Write engaging and informative scripts, working closely with our daily news presenter
  • Shoot and edit film news segments for our website
  • Work with the marketing, technical and editorial departments to delivery high quality video content to strict deadlines
  • Be a champion of Film Daily and our community

  • Experience of creating motion graphics an advantage
  • At least 2 years experience in content production, within either a digital, marketing or studio environment
  • 2 years experienced use of final cut pro, imovies, animoto and other off the shelf editing tools
  • Practical, working knowledge of light set-ups and the use of chroma key
  • Studio or self-shooting experience
  • Startup mentality
  • A Showreel of previous projects
  • In-depth understanding of the moving image process
  • Excellent working knowledge of various editing softwares and experience on studio based shoots
  • Working knowledge of production and post-production workflows
  • Working knowledge of Canon cameras and iPhone movie editing
  • Knowledge of adjusting lighting in post
  • Simple VFX skills
  • UK driving license and own vehicle
