Graduate Intern - Sport Placement Evaluator
Working within Sport Development and Education, you will help evaluate and support student placement provision in these areas.
Finding that first big career break isn’t easy, especially if you haven’t had work experience.
Southampton Solent University has 30 micro-internships available to 2017 graduates who may be unemployed or who haven’t had relevant work experience related to their studies.
You will be working in School of Sport Education and Development a large academic school with 7 subject areas. This post will involve staff in Sport Education and Development area, which includes the co-curricular area.

This role is for 4 weeks starting on 8 January 2018 and finishing 2 February 2018. The salary is £1249.04 gross.
This role may be considered part-time if you are unable to apply for a full-time job. If you are intending to apply as part-time please specify your suggested hours of work within your cover message.
Please note that if you are applying part-time the salary will be adjusted accordingly.
Also note that your working hours should be within the University's usual working hours: Monday – Thursday between 8.30am-5pm and Friday between 8.30am-4.30pm.

This opportunity is only available for 2017 Solent graduates who have not previously been involved in any other SSU Graduate Programme.
In order to be eligible to apply for this post:
- You must have graduated with an undergraduate degree from Southampton Solent University this year (July 2017)
- You are currently unemployed or you have a full or part-time job where you are not using your degree skills
- Not studying towards any postgraduate qualification
- You need to be available for work from Monday 8 January 2018 until Friday 2 February, 2018
You must be eligible to work in the UK full-time without restriction. If you were an overseas student you will need to have a visa that is valid for the duration of the role.
