Daybreak Family Group Conferences is seeking exceptional trustees who have the passion and skills to develop our pioneering work with families across the UK and Europe.
Daybreak FGC (www.daybreakfgc.org.uk) is an exciting, dynamic charity, delivering Family Group Conferences (FGCs) and training across the UK. Our passion is keeping families together, from children at risk of entering the care system to vulnerable adults facing a loss of independence.
With 20 staff, 2 offices and a bank of over 60 outworkers we deliver 11 programme's for local authorities across the UK.
Our innovative, entrepreneurial spirit ensures we are pioneers in the use of FGC's, a New Zealand model that brings families together to make decisions and resolve problems. Belief in the power of families is at the heart of everything that we do and we now want to reach even more people with our work, from prisoners to policy makers.
To achieve our ambitious plans for the future we need to continually look to recruit new trustees.
- We need people who can inspire, guide us and ensure our charity is managed effectively.
- You must be able to make a commitment to Daybreak FGC and have strategic vision, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a willingness to speak your mind.
- Ideally, our new trustees will also have skills and experience in one or more of the following areas: Commercial Sector, Fundraising, Research, Social Care practice
- We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse board of trustees, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
