Maritime Strategies International (MSI) Ltd is a highly successful shipping consultancy, based at London Bridge. It is widely respected for its forecasting and business advisory services to shipping industries across the globe. Clients include banks, shipowners, brokers, investors, insurers, and service providers.

Following a period of rapid growth, we are now looking for highly-motivated support staff to join the team.

The Sales & Marketing Administrator will be responsible for assisting the commercial team in all areas of sales and marketing, from development to execution. This will include anything from assisting with market research to validating and updating lead lists, or helping to organise MSI attendance at global events. They will also be involved with updating the MSI website and other social media marketing tools and managing enquiries generated by visitors to the website.


  • Support the commercial team in the preparation of sales and marketing materials
  • Maintain MSI’s CRM system with up-to-date client and prospect information
  • Assist with identification of potential opportunities and gathering of competitor intelligence
  • Support the team by creating and maintaining sales process documentation
  • Work on MSI’s social media accounts and website
  • Liaise with third parties as necessary - PR companies, print media, events, etc.
  • Take responsibility for data integrity and quality

About You

  • Competency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills (knowledge of programs like Photoshop/InDesign not essential but preferred)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage their own workload
  • Strong degree in a relevant field
  • Some previous experience in an administrative or marketing capacity (i.e. internship or relevant university experience)
