Seasonal Temporary, Selling Assistant
This vacancy is for a Seasonal Temporary role. Please note you will only be able to have one active Seasonal Temporary application for the same branch, at any given time.
- You will focus on achieving department sales targets through a focus on selling and the delivery of a market leading customer experience. To add value to the efficient and profitable running of your department in order to achieve your business and personal objectives, along with those of your team and the branch. Selling Partners act as ambassadors for the John Lewis brand, providing the level of customer service which makes us unrivalled in the marketplace
- Selling Partners are required to take an active interest in the management of their department so you should have an understanding of retail, be aware of who John Lewis' s competitors are and be comfortable to offer advice to customers. Our aim is to solve any customer queries/ complaints quickly, so you should be confident in managing such situations to a successful conclusion for both our Customers and the business. This is a seasonal temporary position, the earliest start date you could be required in this role is 29/10/2017 with a potential end date of 20/01/2018. We could offer you a shorter contract within these dates.
Group assessments will take place on various dates from the 06/10/2017. You will need to be available for an assessment from this time.
