EPAD Research Assistant
The Centre for Dementia Prevention at the University of Edinburgh has an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join the European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia (EPAD) Project. The EPAD project is an ambitious European initiative to create a novel environment for testing numerous interventions targeted at the prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia.
- The post holder will be expected to manage individuals through the trial pathway and will be appropriately trained to administer neuropsychological trial assessments. The post holder will also be expected to manage trial data, conduct data entry, quality check data and adhere to the trial protocol.
- The Centre for Dementia Prevention is led by Prof Ritchie and the post-holder will be supported by the EPAD Study Co-ordinator. The post-holder will work closely with other research sites across the UK and Europe. Within the University, the post holder must develop good working relationships with the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, Clinical Research Facilities and Edinburgh Clinical Research Imaging Centre.
- Candidates should have a BSc/BA in a relevant subject (e.g. psychology/nursing) and some research experience.
