Jackson’s Art Supplies, an independent, artist run company, is looking for a hard working, meticulous individual to join our close-knit, creative marketing team in East London.

Responsibilities: 

  • On a daily basis you will be working with the ‘Copywriter and Marketing Executive’ and the ‘‘Production Database Manager’ to write engaging, SEO-considered descriptions for products and categories on our website and to sort, create, categorise and update products, PDFs and data.
  • We are looking for someone who is creative, diligent, comfortable with different software systems and general data handling. You will need to be able to research, write concisely and be adept at grasping software, CMS systems, data analysis and Excel.

 

About you:

  • An interest in and practical knowledge of art materials

  • The ability to write logical, informed, clear and engaging copy

  • Be able to efficiently and quickly research and utilise the results

  • Competent user of Excel (or equivalent)

  • Attention to detail, both numerical and grammatical

  • Be able to work independently and in a team

  • The ability to use both Windows and Mac

  • A basic understanding of HTML

  • Enjoy working to a strict character/ word count

  • Experience of working with meta titles, meta descriptions

  • Practical use of Google Search Console, Google AdWords, Serpstat (or similar)

  • Enthusiasm for the details and qualities of a vast range of art materials

  • Some understanding of how websites (preferably Ecommerce sites) work

  • An interest and drive to expand your skills base

  • Adaptable and a problem solver
