Carnival UK are offering an opportunity within the Learning technology development team for a great experience in a professional environment.
This opportunity could be used as placement experience.

We are looking for a student to work with us between Monday-Friday, on a short term basis (up to 35 hours per week). The starting date of this placement will be Monday 23 July, and the length will be two weeks.
If you are the type of person that is open to embedding the theoretical knowledge learnt in a corporate environment, this is an excellent opportunity. The role will be varied, challenging and a great experience for your CV. We are particularly keen for second-year students who would like to gain practical experience prior to transitioning to the 3rd year of study.
Hours will be flexible around your timetabled classes or additional commitments, and full training will be provided.
You will be working directly with the Learning and Development Department inputting data to a new LMS (Learning Management System), This work will have a direct impact on enhancing the continual professional development opportunities of all staff with Carnival UK .
Here are the sorts of tasks we will get you involved with:
- Inputting data within a LMS
- Trailing new learning platforms
- Providing feedback on learning courses
Who we are looking for:
Someone who is enthusiastic, willing to learn, and able to think for themselves as well as be guided by the team. You will be motivated and looking to gain as much experience as you can from this opportunity. You need to be reliable, organised, able to listen and take on board the tasks.
Skills you may have or be looking to improve:
- IT Skills – internet, Excel and Word.
- Good team player and willing to ‘have a go’.
- Ability to work flexibly and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

You will receive an induction which will cover the aims and objectives of the role. You will also be trained to navigate our LMS and input data to build courses of the future.
