As an Assistant Graphic Designer you will create company marketing communications for print and digital applications. As part of the central marketing and design function you will report to the marketing team manager, helping to ensure all communications are designed to a high standard, in-line with company brand guidelines and delivered on-time. You will create bespoke client brochures, presentations and project report documents and graphics along with general marketing administration duties.


  • Producing presentation documents and brochures in-line with company or client branding
  • Producing graphics to help support bids and client project report documents
  • Team hierarchy charts
  • Project stage diagrams
  • Stylised tables and charts
  • Formatting and trouble-shooting Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office branded templates 
  • Creating graphics for use on our social media platforms, intranet and website
  • Assist with producing company artwork for events, including flyers, banners and email invitations
  • General administration duties including: obtaining print quotes, arranging project and staff photography saving files to the company marketing library, raising purchase orders, report formatting and document branding

About You

  • Intermediate/Advanced Level Adobe CC InDesign print-based layout skills
  • InDesign Book and Chapter formatting
  • Working with object, character and paragraph styles
  • Formatting for print and checking pre-flight errors
  • Adobe CC Illustrator experience
  • Adobe CC Photoshop good level of re-touching skills and understanding of image quality/sizing
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word
  • Knowledge of print process, formatting for print, binding methods and paper stocks
  • Any experience using email software would be advantageous (not essential)
  • Graphic design higher education qualification
  • At least 2 years design work experience
  • Out-going personality with a positive can-do attitude
  • Hard worker who is organised with a good attention to detail
