  • To provide logistical & operational support to the Shows Team for the Country Living shows business  
  • The role includes exposure across the breadth of outdoor/indoor show organisation and delivery e.g. marketing, sales and administrative support 
  • To attend and work as part of the team at evening and weekend events where required (including bank holidays). 
  • This role requires extensive periods working away from the office at outdoor shows and includes overnight hotel stays  
  • To assist the Shows Director and the wider Hearst Live team in the organisation of group events and relationship management of sponsors / partners  
  • Act as a point of contact for stand holders at relevant shows / exhibitions   
  • Work alongside any agencies Hearst Live instruct  
  • Support of marketing execution of the associated campaigns    
  • Support the Shows & Events Manager and the sales team in the management of sponsors and partners  
  • Undertake administration required for relevant shows / exhibitions  
  • Assist the team in the collation and delivery of sponsorship reports and presentations  

About You

  • Event and/or hospitality work experience  
  • Knowledge of show / exhibition industry  
  • Competent in using Word, Excel, Powerpoint, internet and e-mail systems   
  • Presentable and approachable  
  • Confident telephone manner (including cold calling)  
  • Highly organised and have the ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining a high accuracy in work standard  
  • Ability to work as part of a team with the aptitude to act on own initiative where required  
  • Flexibility in work approach and time management
