A highly successful and well established travel company are looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to be responsible for assisting the Direct Marketing Manager with the day-to-day implementation of direct marketing activity; brochure request fulfilment and ad-hoc projects for for their holiday and hotel brand.

Resposibilities

  • Work with Direct Marketing Manager, Marketing team, Product Managers and Yield teams to identify and collate product to be included in mailers
  • Brief and work closely with in-house publishing team and external agencies to produce latest campaign material
  • Manage process of internal proofing of campaign material before print
  • Ensure relevant internal departments are fully briefed on all communications regarding marketing activity
  • Take on full responsibility for the weekly welcome home programmes
  • Contribute to the effective ongoing management of various project and campaign budgets
  • Partake in campaign reviews and reporting including complete campaign cost sheets for each campaign
  • Liaise with printers and fulfilment houses to tender for work and negotiate best prices
  • Manage process of external proofing of campaign material (print and fulfilment)
  • May need to support CRM & Loyalty team with weekly triggered email campaigns
  • Provide support to the wider Marketing and Commercial teams as required

About You

  • Graduate calibre, preferably with marketing or business degree, and at least a year's marketing experience
  • Good copywriting and proof reading skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office systems such as Excel and Word
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Organised, accurate, flexible and adaptable to quickly changing priorities
  • Able to be self-motivating, working at times autonomously or with a remote team
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, especially around deadlines
  • Ability to manage a range of projects to timescales and budget
  • A good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills and the confidence to build good working relationships internally and externally
