An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Administrator to join the finance team of a growing manufacturing business in Stockton-on-Tees. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator at all levels with strong knowledge of Excel and high levels of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Matching of purchase invoices to delivery note and purchase order
  • Posting of purchase invoices to Sage
  • Obtaining relevant approval of purchase invoices
  • Carry out supplier statement reconciliations
  • Monthly supplier payment run
  • Weekly bank account reconciliations
  • Petty cash
  • Issue sales invoices to customers
  • National statistics forms
  • General office duties including reception cover and call handling
  • Previous experience of working within an accounts department
  • Knowledge/experience of foreign currency transactions
  • Good skill level in using Microsoft Excel & Sage accounts systems
  • Confident and competent individual with high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
