You will spend 6 wks with the Legal Team to work on the ‘Definitive Map’ project, 6 wks with Tree Management Team to work on the ‘So Map’ application.
You will be working with online business databases and support the Solent Jobs Programme, supporting long-term unemployed people back into work.
You will act as the lead co-ordinator for the City Council on the Measurably increasing the use of Green Spaces in the SO18 Big Local Area Project.
The main role and responsibility of the intern would be to oversee a citizen science project from start to finish such as the ‘Big Butterfly’.
You will research, design and implement a series of self-help e-learning modules for local voluntary and community organisations.
You would investigate the barriers to access and how to remove them.This work could include researching parents’ responses.
