Hamptons International is the leading UK estate and letting agent, with a head office located in London's West End. Hamptons International has 22 branches in prime locations in London and an addition 63 regional branches. As well as estate agency and letting agency services, Hamptons International offers a wide range of property related products and services. Additional property services include a specialist Equestrian Property team for both sales and lettings, a dedicated Waterside department, new home specialists plus short-lets.

Hamptons International was originally established in 1869 by William Hampton who started his career with a furniture shop on Cranbourn Street in London. The business grew rapidly and by the 1920s, a successful auction house arm was created. Notably it was involved in the sale of the luxury liner the Mauritania, (sister ship to the fateful Titanic), and in the sale of the Cameroon Islands. The estate agent side of the business moved to the former French Embassy building on Arlington Street in 1936 and twenty one years later was separated from the parent company. Hamptons International expanded greatly during the 1980's until being bought by Bristol and West Building Society. Hamptons International was then bought by Cluttons London Residential Agency in the mid 1990's, before being purchased by Wheelock Properties in 2005. Global company Emaar Properties bought Hamptons International in 2006, and then was acquired by Countrywide Plc in 2010.

Hamptons International was winner of the Gold award for Best Large Agency in the 2015 Estate Agency of the Year Awards in association with The Sunday Times.
